Cervical Traction Pillow

First of all let me give you my qualifications to review this product. 30 years ago after having a pinched nerve and herniated disk, from free weights. I got into inversion boots and then tables. I used them every day for a year starting with a minute a day and adding a minute every week and after a year my spine decompressed. and I got rid of those problems. What I learned was that the muscles must be elongated first before the spine can fully decompress. With that knowledge I moved into Yoga where I have spend the better part of 26 years doing and teaching. A few years ago I developed tight neck muscles. I had an x ray and the x ray showed bone on bone. . Inversion will not stretch those muscles because the head is not heavy enough. I found the neck pillows and using the same principle I began slowly stretching the muscles in the Cervical spine. After a time, a month or so , I felt pops and the Cervical elongated. I started using the neck stretcher with my inversion table and it worked well. I have gone through several products over time and was ok with just buying replacements when they developed leaks. I was about to order another one when I saw this one and looked at the changes they made. I ordered it because I knew it was a huge improvement over the others. I got it and sure enough, the tapered top conformed to my neck much better then the others. the release valve let the air out much faster then the others and the Velcro straps that hold the neck stretcher in place were much stronger when attached and held it in place, so if you want to try a neck stretcher this is the product you want.

The inflatable neck stretcher is great and it helped me with my neck pain after my lengthy sitting/ long times of work in computer. This inflatable neck stretcher definitely raise the spine and provide some immediate relief to my neck.

First off, I want to say that this is a very nice device as far as neck traction devices go. It seems to be durably made, and the inflation valve is easy to use. There is a soft fabric covering over the rings, plus there is an additional cover that can be laundered. This is a very nice touch.
The reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because the English instructions are horrible. The first precaution makes no sense, and the instructions don't include any information for how much you should inflate the device or how long/how often you need to use it. I had to find that information elsewhere online. If this device had better instructions in my language, it would have been 5 stars.
